Job summary

Maris Grove by Erickson Senior Living is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to promote, restore, and maintain residents' health and wellbeing. The RN will collaborate with providers, the interdisciplinary team, and care associates to deliver high-quality care in a vibrant senior living community.

The ideal candidate has an active RN license, at least 6 months of RN experience, CPR certification, and a passion for caring for seniors.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families, supporting physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Perform all clinical duties in accordance with state nurse practice act and standards.
• Promote independence by establishing care goals and teaching residents and families.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and respond to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates to perform routine nursing care for assigned residents.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and administer medications as ordered.
• Coordinate a holistic care plan with the interdisciplinary team.
• Support resident preferences and document in the EMR.
• Ensure documentation is current, accurate and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
