Peregrine Senior Living in Delmar, NY is seeking an energetic Resident Care Coordinator to join our team. This full-time role focuses on medication management oversight, staff training, and ensuring compliance with care protocols to deliver exceptional resident care.

The ideal candidate may be an LPN or have a Human Services degree with experience; bachelor/associate degrees in human services are preferred. We offer competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) welcomed but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services with 1 year full-time related experience, or an associate degree with 3 years related experience.
• High school diploma with 5 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medication management program and audits for QA and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians to maintain accurate medication orders.
• Support training and orientation for care staff on procedures and best practices.
• Ensure adherence to PSL policies with focus on documentation.
• Supervise and schedule resident care staff per PSL standards.
• Assist in recruiting, screening, and interviewing care staff; cover shortages as needed.
• Administer medications as allowed by state guidelines and PSL rules.
