American House Senior Living Communities is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant to support residents with daily needs and contribute to a warm, safe community. You will help residents live with dignity, comfort, and independence while participating in daily activities.

This role offers paid training, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive leadership team. You will work in a team-driven environment and build meaningful relationships with residents and families as you deliver

Qualifikationen

• Compassionate and patient approach for seniors.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Previous caregiving, senior living, or healthcare experience is required.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25–50 lbs as needed for resident care.

Aufgaben

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report observations to leadership.
• Encourage resident engagement in activities, programs, and social events.
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in resident apartments and common areas.
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and light housekeeping.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Support new resident orientation and help them feel welcome in the community.
