Covenant Living is seeking a Receptionist to greet residents, staff, and visitors in a friendly, professional manner. You will answer calls, transfer, take messages, and manage the lobby area with confidentiality and excellent communication skills.

The role includes coordinating transportation, assisting residents with programs, handling mail, and balancing cash at the desk. A calm, respectful demeanor is essential in this senior care environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• One year of secretarial training or clerical experience.
• Highly organized with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Pleasant personality and telephone voice.
• Ability to remain calm in an emergency situation.
• Complete confidentiality when circulating general information.
• Knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Interest in and desire to work with older adults.

Responsabilités

• Answer all telephone calls promptly in a polite, personal, and friendly manner.
• Transfers calls appropriately and takes messages when the resident or staff member is unavailable.
• Monitor emergency system; direct staff to emergent situations and call emergency personnel as appropriate.
• Greet visitors, sign in contractors, and direct to the appropriate staff.
• Keep the reception desk and lobby clean and organized after each shift.
• Coordinate and communicate transportation requests and remind residents of trips.
• Assist residents in signing up for programs, collect payments, and handle mail/packages.
