Job summary

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Plant Operations Director for The Riverside at Maumelle in North Little Rock, AR. You will oversee maintenance and housekeeping, manage budgets, staffing, and compliance, and drive safety, quality, and resident satisfaction across the campus.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and hands-on ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather. A HVAC certification is strongly preferred and health and safety screenings are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• A certification and experience in HVAC highly recommended.
• Thorough knowledge of construction, refinishing, painting, plumbing, floor/carpet care, refurbishing required.
• Must have at least two (2) years of experience in apartment or other multiple unit maintenance with supervisory experience.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
• Active role with indoor/outdoor duties and use of a ladder.
• Criminal background clearance required.
• Good health verified by physician health screening within 6 months prior to hire; TB test required.
• Clean driving record per insured’s policy.
• Experience in senior housing preferred.
• Leadership and supervision skills required.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Plant Operations and Housekeeping departments, including budget, staffing, and compliance.
• Maintain high standards of maintenance, cleanliness, and appearance of building and grounds.
• Ensure resident satisfaction and timely address requests.
• Maintain safety for employees, guests, and residents, and manage environmental hazards/as emergencies.
