Job summary

Curana Health seeks a mission-driven physician to join our national team, delivering high-quality, person-centered care in skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities. You will collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers, mentor APPs, and lead clinical initiatives to improve outcomes while enjoying autonomy and the opportunity for leadership roles within a growing healthcare organization.

This position requires travel between assigned facilities with opportunities for CME support

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
• Current unrestricted medical license in the employing state.
• Active DEA license.
• Proficiency with EMR.
• Team player with compassionate, intelligent motivation.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care by completing history and physicals on new patients and conducting routine rounding (minimum once per week).
• Partner with APPs to manage regulatory and complex patient visits, ensuring compliance and clinical excellence.
• Oversee APP performance, mentoring and elevating care delivery across the team.
• Close quality gaps and drive measurable improvements in patient outcomes.
• Advocate for patients and represent Curana Health’s mission in communities served.
