Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC) is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to help older adults restore function, manage pain, improve mobility, and stay engaged in daily moments that matter. You will create individualized therapy plans focused on residents' goals, safety, and independence.

You will evaluate mobility and functional capacity, provide evidence-based treatments, and collaborate with the care team to coordinate comprehensive care across the continuum.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Texas.
• Two to three years of experience in skilled nursing or senior living preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate residents' mobility, strength, balance, motor function, sensory perception, functional capacity and therapy needs.
• Develop individualized plans of care with short- and long-term goals.
• Provide evidence-based treatment using therapeutic exercise, manual techniques and functional activities.
• Monitor response to treatment and adjust interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing and rehabilitation team members to coordinate care.
