Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Texas.
• 2–3 years of experience in skilled nursing or senior living preferred.
• Experience with orthopedic rehab, wound care, pain management is a plus.
• Strong communication and compassionate bedside manner.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ mobility, strength, balance, and therapy needs.
• Develop individualized care plans with measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based treatment using exercises and manual techniques.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions for maximum benefit.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and families to coordinate care.
• Document evaluations, treatment, and discharge plans accurately.
• Create transition plans to support continued success after therapy ends.
