Job summary

Wexford House in North Carolina is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities. You will assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and safety, delivering respectful, person-centered care.

You will join a team that values dignity and independence, provide companionship, monitor health, and follow infection control protocols. Education: high school diploma preferred; 1 year in care preferred; CPR/First Aid preferred; background

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal care, senior living, or healthcare preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred; background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Support meal preparation, feeding assistance, and hydration as needed.
• Observe health changes and report to nursing staff; assist with medication reminders.
