Zusammenfassung

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents’ daily living needs in a warm, home-like environment. You will directly impact residents by helping them feel safe, comfortable, and respected, working with a supportive team of caregivers and nursing staff.

You will document care, communicate effectively, and engage residents in activities that enhance physical, emotional, and social well-being, while upholding privacy and HIPAA standards.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; CPR/BLS certifications are a plus and training is provided.

Aufgaben

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and observe for signs of distress or changes in condition.
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
