Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents’ daily living in a warm, home-like setting. You will help with ADLs and provide emotional support as part of a dedicated care team.

You’ll work with nursing staff to deliver resident-centered care, ensuring safety, dignity, and engagement in daily activities. Training is provided for certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus, training is available.
• Friendly, patient, and positive attitude with good listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving dignity.
• Monitor safety and observe changes in condition for residents.
• Document resident care and changes accurately as required.
• Communicate with nursing staff and caregivers about resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities that support well-being.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA and policies.
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment.
