Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents’ physical and emotional well-being in a warm, home-like setting. This full-time, 3rd shift role offers hourly pay and a dedicated team focused on resident safety and dignity.

You’ll work with nursing staff and caregivers to deliver high-quality care, maintain documentation, and contribute to a caring community that values respect and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus—training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and note changes in condition.
• Accurately document resident care and changes as required.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers about resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA and policies.
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment.
