Job summary

Somerset Court of Mocksville is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team. The role supports residents with daily living activities, promotes independence, and ensures a safe, respectful environment.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, meals, medication reminders, and engage residents in social activities while following safety protocols. A HS diploma or GED and CNA/PCA training preferred; 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• PCA/CNA training preferred.
• 1 year of healthcare or senior-care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Support meals, hydration and daily living activities.
• Monitor health and report changes to nursing staff.
• Engage residents with companionship and social activities.
• Maintain safe, clean living areas and follow infection control procedures.
