Job summary

The role requires a nursing degree and an active LPN/RN license with CPR certification, plus 3+ years of nursing management experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of nursing management experience.
• Active, unrestricted LPN or RN license in practicing state & CPR certification.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and regulations pertaining to long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administration and operation of Assisted Living and Memory Support services.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws and organization policies.
• Provide clinical expertise, education, training, and mentoring for staff.
• Assist in preparation, monitoring and evaluation of operating budgets and allocate resources to meet targets.
• Maintain safe, attractive and sanitary environment for residents, families, and vendors.
• Represent the community on QAPI committee and report key indicators.
• Oversee required educational programs including First Aid, CPR, TB monitoring.
• Collaborate with admissions and marketing to promote a positive community image and smooth transitions for new residents.
• Participate in educational workshops to stay current with standards of practice.
• Ensure adherence to universal precautions, infection control, fire safety, and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
