Discovery Commons Washington Square in Sewell, NJ is seeking a Sales Associate to welcome residents and coordinate move-in experiences. You’ll serve as a central liaison across departments to ensure apartments are ready and residents feel supported on move-in day.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, organization, and teamwork, with a full-time schedule, weekday hours, and opportunities for growth in a supportive senior living community.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service/hospitality experience.
• Senior Living, Multi-Family, or New Home experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across departments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to use email, internet-based tools, and client tracking or design software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective and incoming residents during leasing and move-in to build rapport.
• Assist pre-leased residents with timely apartment access for measuring blinds, furniture, etc.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings and provide updates on move-ins.
• Verify apartment readiness by confirming final cleaning and punch list completion.
• Coordinate move-in logistics with residents and movers, including parking and elevator access.
• Welcome new residents on move-in day and provide orientation, keys, mail, appliances, thermostat use.
• Deliver welcome gifts or baskets and arrange meals on move-in day.
• Coordinate dining/activities for the first 1–3 days after move-in.
