Job summary

Discovery Senior Living in Sewell, NJ is seeking an Activities & Events Coordinator to enrich residents' lives by planning engaging programs and coordinating events in a warm, welcoming community.

The part-time role offers a Friday-to-Monday schedule at 120 Town Center Blvd, with a $19/hour rate, providing opportunities to support a culture of Pillars of Excellence and growth within a nationally recognized senior living organization.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; technical school acceptable.
• 1–3 years of experience in assisted living or senior populations preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to connect with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and overseeing a diverse calendar of resident activities and events.
• Coordinate and lead community programs from setup to cleanup.
• Partner with team members and residents to create meaningful experiences.
• Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to diverse interests and abilities.
• Maintain accurate scheduling and timely communication for events.
• Other duties as assigned.
