Job summary

MBK Senior Living in the Western United States is seeking a Medication Technician to document, deliver and administer medicines to residents as prescribed by physicians, with superior customer service and in accordance with all policies.

The full-time role is Tue-Sat, 2pm–10:30pm, with hourly rate of $21-$22. The job focuses on assisting residents with medications, documenting actions, and coordinating with pharmacy and physicians.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ with proper work permit and authorization.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience handling medications preferred.
• Background clearances as required by regulations.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Negative TB test results within the last 6 months.
• HIPAA compliance at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medications and care as assigned.
• Observe, verify and document medication ingestion as directed.
• Maintain confidential medication records in accordance with procedures.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy and physician.
• Participate in narcotic counts at shift start and end.
• Ensure resident safety, dignity and timely responses to needs.
