Job summary

Arvum Senior Living in Springfield, MO is seeking a dedicated Care Giver/Medication Tech to support residents on every shift. You will monitor residents, assist with daily living activities, and help with medications under supervision in a compassionate, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• L1MA or CMA certification.
• High School diploma/GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift and monitor their location.
• Observe, report and document residents' symptoms and conditions.
• Respond promptly to call bells and security system.
• Assist with continence management and sanitation of resident suites and restrooms.
• Help residents with activities of daily living and promote independence.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Restock medication cart and assist in medication passes.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Participate in the development of the Service Plan and monthly updates.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration rates.
