Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 2–4 years of related experience.
• Medication certification as required by state guidelines.
• Must complete ESL medication competency upon hire.
• First Aid and CPR certification if required by state law.
• Ability to read and interpret safety documents and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication reminders and/or assistance according to state regulations.
• Administer medications as allowed by state guidelines.
• Order and receive medication; communicate with pharmacy if not available.
• Prioritize tasks to ensure optimum services to residents.
• Maintain resident records in the digital platform daily (medication distribution, incidents, observations).
• Perform room visits and room checks; assist with resident care.
• Respond promptly to resident requests for assistance (pull cords, calls, family requests).
• Monitor safety and well-being; communicate changes to health staff.
• Audit rooms for self-administering medications and ensure guideline compliance.
• Maintain open communication with supervisor and peers; participate in occasional other duties.
