Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech in a caring senior living environment. You will administer medications and treatments per physician orders, follow the Six Rights, and document in MAR/TAR in real time to ensure resident safety.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication skills. Senior care experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED.
• Certified in Medication Administration.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
