Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide/Med Tech to deliver safe, accurate medication care for our residents. You will administer medications per physician orders, observe responses, and document in MAR/TAR in real time.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR and First Aid certifications, and strong documentation and communication skills.

• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts per policy
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards
