Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide / Med Tech to ensure safe, accurate medication care for residents. You will administer medications, document in MAR/TAR in real time, and monitor residents for health changes with attention to safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and Medication Administration certification; CPR/First Aid are required. Prior senior care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified Medication Administration as required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications must be current.
• Strong documentation and communication skills for resident care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
