American House Senior Living Communities is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician (PRN) to safely administer medications and support residents in an assisted living/memory care setting. The role includes MAR documentation, resident monitoring, and collaboration with nursing and care teams.

The ideal candidate has completed a state-approved Medication Administration course and demonstrates strong attention to detail, with a focus on safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Candidate has completed a state-approved Medication Administration course or certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation are essential.
• Good communication with residents, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and in accordance with state regulations and policies.
• Document MARs and maintain accurate medication records.
• Verify resident identity before administering medications.
• Report concerns, refusals, or changes promptly to supervision.
• Maintain security of medication carts and narcotics; complete narcotic counts.
• Assist with ADLs and monitor resident well‑being.
• Communicate updates during shift handoff and document timely notes.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, hospice, and family members.
