Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living in Knightdale is seeking a Care/Medication Technician to support residents with hands-on care and medication administration. The role involves monitoring residents, assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and maintaining a warm, home-like environment.

You will document changes, assist with meals, support continence management, and coordinate with nurses and HC Coordinators. CNA certification and CPR/First Aid preferred; experience with seniors is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for designated group of residents during shift; monitor well-being.
• Observe and document residents’ symptoms and changes in condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living to promote independence and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas.
• Respond to resident calls, support continence management, and assist with meals.
• Administer/observe medications with Six Rights of Medication Pass; document accurately.
• Restock medications and maintain medication room and charts.

Education

High School diploma/GED

Certified Nurse’s Aid certification
