Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living seeks a dedicated Care/Medication Technician to support residents in a warm, home-like community. You will provide hands-on care, assist with activities of daily living, monitor health changes, and help with medications under supervision.

Ideal candidates have a CNA certification (preferred), a high school diploma or GED, and CPR/First Aid certifications (preferred), with prior senior care experience. This role emphasizes safety, dignity, and compassionate assistance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• First Aid certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care Giver: monitor residents, check on them, assist with meals, maintain cleanliness, support daily living activities and life skills.
• Medication Tech Duties: review service plans, assist/observe medications, document doses, restock cart, count narcotics, maintain med room and charts, and record vital signs.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident information and promptly report concerns to Nurse or Health Care Coordinator.
• Follow safety, hygiene and infection control practices and support residents’ independence and dignity.

Education
