Job summary

Barclay House of Rock Hill is seeking a Maintenance Technician to carry out preventative maintenance and upkeep of facilities. The role requires coordination of building repairs, safe driving, and adherence to OSHA guidelines to ensure a well-maintained and safe living environment for residents.

The successful candidate will document maintenance activities, assist with move-ins/outs, and help keep common areas immaculate, supporting a high-quality living experience for older adults.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• OSHA compliance knowledge.
• Construction experience in coordinating building repairs.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Follow preventative maintenance program as directed by the Director of Facility Management, including painting touch-ups, grounds and building readiness, lighting, gutters, pathways, and debris removal.
• Manage time effectively to complete tasks within company time frames.
• Keep building and grounds clean and appealing for residents, guests, referrals and prospects.
• Document maintenance records for all systems and equipment (fire sprinkler, extinguishers, monitoring, kitchen hood, elevator, boiler permit, nurse call, generator, HVAC, PTAC, etc.).
• Assist new residents and families with move-in tasks during admissions and discharges.
