Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Barclay at Little River in Arkansas. This full-time position runs 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and involves performing preventative maintenance, keeping the property in excellent condition, and documenting work on various systems and equipment.

The role supports residents and new move-ins with tasks and safety compliance. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, OSHA knowledge, construction coordination experience, and a valid

Responsibilities

• Follows a preventative maintenance program as directed by the Director of Facility Management, including general upkeep and safety checks.
• Maintains clean and safe building exteriors and interiors to keep residents, guests, and staff in a pleasant environment.
• Documents maintenance activities and records for systems and equipment (fire safety, boiler, HVAC, etc.).
• Assists new residents and family members with move-in tasks during admissions and discharges.
• Other duties as assigned related to property upkeep and safety.

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician for The Barclay at Little River

Primary Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:

• Successfully follows a preventative maintenance program set forth by the Director of Facility Management, which including paint-touch up, grounds and building tour readiness, lights are working, gutters are free and clear of debris, pathways are clear, trash and debris are removed from the property.


• Practices excellent time management skills and completes tasks within company time frames.


• Ensures that building and grounds are clean, immaculate and appealing to residents, guests, referral sources and prospects.


• Provide accurate documentation as it applies to maintenance records on all systems and equipment, including but not limited to the fire sprinkler system, fire extinguishers, fire monitoring system, kitchen hood cleaning, elevator inspections, boiler permit, nurse call system, emergency back-up generator, automobile maintenance, HVAC and PTAC service.


• Assists new residents and family members with move-in tasks during admissions and discharges.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent


• Working knowledge of OSHA compliance and laws


• Construction experience in coordinating building repairs.


• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
