Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Barclay at Little River. The role supports a preventative maintenance program to ensure safety, cleanliness, and readiness of common areas and resident spaces.

The position runs full-time from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. A High School Diploma/GED is required, with OSHA knowledge and a valid driver’s license. Join a team that values excellence, safety, and compassionate care for older adults.

Qualifications

• OSHA compliance knowledge is required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record are expected.

Responsibilities

• Follows a preventive maintenance program set by the Director of Facility Management, including painting touch-ups, grounds and building readiness, proper lighting, and debris removal.
• Manages time effectively to complete tasks within company timeframes.
• Keeps buildings and grounds clean, immaculate, and appealing to residents, guests, referral sources and prospects.
• Maintains accurate maintenance records for systems and equipment (fire sprinkler, extinguishers, fire monitoring, boiler, HVAC, generator, etc.).
• Assists new residents and families with move-in tasks during admissions and discharges.
