Job summary

Londonderry Village in Palmyra, PA is hiring a General Maintenance Technician to maintain facilities, repair systems, and support on-campus operations. You will perform preventive inspections, respond to work orders, and assist with light carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical tasks to keep the campus safe and welcoming.

We seek candidates with at least one year of maintenance experience, a valid PA driver’s license, strong communication, and a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Valid PA Driver’s License required.
• One year of hands-on maintenance experience preferred.
• Clear verbal and written communication with residents and teammates.
• Proficiency in English for safety, documentation, and instruction.
• Basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing knowledge.
• Commitment to safety protocols and PPE usage.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and sustain standing/walking most of shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain critical systems: preventive and corrective work on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical networks.
• Routinely inspect buildings and equipment and perform timely repairs.
• Address work orders promptly, prioritizing safety and comfort.
• Assist with light carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical tasks as needed.
• Organize tools and materials for safe, efficient work.
• Participate in seasonal readiness and staff transport during inclement weather.
• Adhere to Londonderry Village policies and safety standards.
• Report unsafe conditions or equipment issues to the Maintenance Director.
• Support on-call and weekend rotations as assigned.
