Job summary
Arcadia at Limerick Pointe is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our senior living community in Limerick, PA running smoothly. You will handle routine maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and refurbishing projects to support resident comfort and safety.
Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, with technical school preferred and about 1 year of maintenance or housekeeping experience.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical school preferred.
- 1 year maintenance or housekeeping experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance duties including wall/floor repairs, furniture and fixture repairs, basic plumbing, minor electrical work, painting, and refurbishing projects.
- Complete work orders promptly and assist with preventative maintenance.
- Complete apartment turnovers and maintenance of carpet and hard surfaces.
- Assist with housekeeping and participate in Fire Safety/Evacuation duties.
- Maintain emergency call system and drive company vehicles as needed.
- Be on-call for building emergencies and perform other duties as assigned.
