The Maintenance Technician assists the Maintenance Manager with executing the general operating maintenance and repair of the community and physical plant. They work to maintain proper operations of the community in a safe, clean, and comfortable manner.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include: Respond to resident and family requests for maintenance assistance; Must be capable of following direction to make electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and structural repairs; Working

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year certificate from college/technical school or 6 months related experience, or equivalent.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities with good time management.
• Ability to work with contractors and diverse personnel.
• Ability to communicate with residents and families.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Use caution and maintain safe working practices.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to resident and family requests for maintenance assistance.
• Follow directions to perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting and structural repairs.
• Work on exterior tasks including irrigation, tree/vegetation, pool maintenance (if applicable), hardscape surfaces, and roofing.
