Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Part Time Maintenance Technician for River's Edge by Barclay House in Savannah, GA. You will support preventative maintenance, perform repairs, and help with move-in tasks to ensure a welcoming, safe environment for residents and families.

The role emphasizes time management, adherence to OSHA standards, and maintaining a clean, well‑kept property while documenting all maintenance activities and coordinating with the facility management team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Working knowledge of OSHA compliance and related laws is required.
• Experience coordinating building repairs is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow a preventative maintenance program set forth by the Director of Facility Management, including repairs and inspections.
• Manage time effectively to complete tasks within company time frames.
• Keep building and grounds clean, immaculate, and appealing to residents and guests.
• Document maintenance records for all systems and equipment (fire safety, HVAC, elevators, etc.).
• Assist new residents and families with move-in tasks during admissions and discharges.

We are currently looking for a Part Time (20 Hours) Maintenance Technician for River's Edge by Barclay House

Primary Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:

• Successfully follows a preventative maintenance program set forth by the Director of Facility Management, which including paint-touch up, grounds and building tour readiness, lights are working, gutters are free and clear of debris, pathways are clear, trash and debris are removed from the property.
• Practices excellent time management skills and completes tasks within company time frames.
• Ensures that building and grounds are clean, immaculate and appealing to residents, guests, referral sources and prospects.
• Provide accurate documentation as it applies to maintenance records on all systems and equipment, including but not limited to the fire sprinkler system, fire extinguishers, fire monitoring system, kitchen hood cleaning, elevator inspections, boiler permit, nurse call system, emergency back-up generator, automobile maintenance, HVAC and PTAC service.
• Assists new residents and family members with move-in tasks during admissions and discharges.
