Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group seeks a Maintenance Technician to service and repair apartment systems across multiple communities. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building infrastructure while upholding safety standards and resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience, ability to read manuals, and strong teamwork skills. This on-site role may require occasional travel between Indiana communities to support operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or some college credits; or related experience.
• Proficient in apartment maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and appliance repair; drywall repairs and painting essential.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals; write routine reports.
• Ability to follow written/oral/diagram instructions and solve problems.
• You love to laugh and provide excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Operates tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintains effective working relationships with team members.
• Identifies and reports broken equipment or uncertain conditions to supervisor.
• Keeps work area and equipment clean and safe per regulations.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machinery and building as required.
• Maintains a positive customer service attitude with staff and residents.
