Job summary

Dial Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair problems across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems, ensuring the community stays safe, functional, and well maintained.

You will complete service requests, prepare vacant apartments for rent, respond to resident requests, assist with emergencies, drive the community vehicle as needed, and may supervise outside vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of property management maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Handyman skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware, masonry, painting/wallpaper and water features.
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs safely and promptly.
• Perform turn-key work to ensure vacant apartments are rent-ready.
• Maintain customer service standards and respond to resident requests to resolve issues.
• Assist with emergencies by following procedures and notifying relevant personnel.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company standards.
• Drive company vehicle as needed.
• May supervise outside vendors or contractors.
• Occasional weekend work for events, snowstorms, or emergencies.
• Other duties as assigned.
