Job summary

Wallick Senior Living in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform day‑to‑day maintenance across a senior living community. The role pays $18.00 per hour and requires basic trade skills to repair or replace fixtures, operate HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, and keep common areas well‑maintained.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of maintenance experience, basic math skills, and the ability to communicate with residents and staff.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED desirable.
Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience.
Knowledge and experience with the use of power tools.
Ability to communicate with co‑workers, residents and family members.
Ability to apply basic math skills.
Make routine decisions requiring minimal judgment which may affect internal department.

Responsibilities

Complete building work orders and service requests as assigned.
Paint and assist with the upkeep of the grounds including landscaping.
Reports all mechanical failure or negative conditions as observed in assigned area to Maintenance Director.
Fix fixtures, heating/cooling units, etc.
Maintain maintenance equipment.
Perform day‑to‑day maintenance functions for the community to include carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical & HVAC.
Maintain the physical appearance of the community.
