Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Professional maintenance-related certifications are a plus, but not required.
• Two or more years of maintenance experience in senior living, multi-apartment, or hotel settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance as directed, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, floor care, basic repairs, and appliance repairs.
• Ensure that all repairs and service orders are completed promptly, following operating and safety standards.
• Maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Repair vacated rooms promptly and prepare for new resident move-in.
• Ensure walls, floor coverings, doors, and woodwork in common areas are well-maintained.
• Monitor and manage maintenance supplies and equipment inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed, including service logs and inventory tracking.
• Maintain positive communication with local authorities and inspectors; comply with local and state codes.
