Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Kent, WA to maintain building systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure repairs are completed promptly and safely. You will handle electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep to support a quality living environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of maintenance or handyman experience in senior living, hotels, or multi‑residence settings, with a customer‑service mindset and ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance or handyman experience in senior living, hotels, or multi‑residence settings.
• General maintenance skills across HVAC, drywall, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and floor care.
• Ability to work independently with good time management and organization.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer service mindset.
• Comfortable handling cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, floor care, and basic repairs.
• Ensure timely completion of repairs and adherence to safety standards.
• Maintain equipment and inventory, and document maintenance logs.
• Repair vacated rooms and prepare for new resident move-in.
• Communicate with inspectors and ensure compliance with codes.
