Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep resident living spaces safe and attractive. You will maintain and repair equipment, systems, structures, and grounds, responding to work orders and coordinating with the Maintenance Director.

The role supports a caring, community-focused environment with attention to safety and quality. The position requires experience in related trades, including electrical and HVAC, and the ability to operate a vehicle for service tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a related trade or position, preferably with electrical, HVAC and repairs/maintenance expertise.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle as part of service and delivery requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regularly walk the residence and grounds to check equipment, maintain appearance, and ensure safety.
• Complete and document work orders for building, grounds and equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Report parts or supplies needed to the Maintenance Director to complete repairs.
• Assist with inventory, preventative maintenance, warranties, inspections, and vendor oversight.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
