Job summary

Freedom Plaza is seeking a Maintenance Tech to uphold the upkeep of residential apartments and public areas on campus. The role requires performing tasks using general maintenance and repair techniques, with a focus on safety and quality, as part of a responsive maintenance team.

Applicants should have 1–2 years of maintenance experience, high school diploma or GED, and a valid Florida driver's license. The position is Monday–Friday with on-call duties and a wage of $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must possess working knowledge of residential building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances.
• Must have knowledge of HVAC.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residential apartments and public areas, applying general maintenance and repair techniques.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of all buildings on campus.
• Work as part of the maintenance team under supervision.
