You will perform routine and emergency repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and fixtures, while keeping detailed work orders and coordinating with other maintenance staff.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of residential building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with residents and staff.
• Must function under general supervision.
• Must be flexible and have integrity.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency repairs in apartments and public areas, including electrical, plumbing, lighting and fixtures.
• Assists in providing initial response for HVAC malfunctions and performs simple repairs.
• Responds to emergency calls regarding system or equipment failures.
• Completes work orders with detailed task and equipment information.
• Assists in campus projects and snow removal when needed.
• Maintains materials and supplies to ensure timely task completion.
• Works overtime as needed and follows supervision directions.
• Supports Supervisor and Director of General Services to ensure efficient operations.
• Attendance and dependability are essential.
