Job summary

Sugar Grove Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The role requires hands-on maintenance across painting, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general upkeep of our facilities.

You will follow safety protocols and coordinate with other teams to keep the property well-maintained and safe for residents. The position is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM, with responsibilities spanning routine maintenance, inspections, and record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, with expertise in painting, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in basic carpentry, painting, patching drywall, electrical, plumbing and landscaping.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
• Conduct painting and drywall repairs to maintain facility appearance.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Assist in planning and executing preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
