Job summary

Clearwater Living in Reno, NV, is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to care for the interior and exterior of a premier senior living community. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety checks under the Maintenance Director to keep spaces clean, safe, and inviting for residents.

Qualifications

• AA degree or higher preferred; experience supervising others in senior living or hospitality.
• Minimum 5–7 years maintenance experience in senior living, property management or related industry.
• Minimum 2–3 years supervisory experience; budget management experience helpful.
• First Aid Certification preferred; TB health requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and replace building systems and components as needed.
• Troubleshoot electrical/plumbing issues and coordinate repairs.
• Paint, landscaping, pool/spa maintenance, and condo/apartment preparation for vacancies.
• Ensure safety by posting signs and storing chemicals properly.
• Monitor security and keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and compliant.
