Job summary

Oakmont Maintenance Director position within Oakmont Management Group requires oversight of maintenance and housekeeping operations to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained property. The role emphasizes completing repairs, preventive maintenance, and ensuring resident comfort consistent with company policies.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and daily grounds checks, with a focus on safety and efficiency while managing staff in a senior living environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two (2) years experience in the building industry, maintenance and/or housekeeping handling upkeep, repair, and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, and structural matters.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate mechanical ability and/or capability of self-teaching to work on equipment.
• Electrical duties: troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
• Structural duties: plan, order, and install cabinets; carpentry tasks.
• Painting duties: interior/exterior painting of the complex.
• Plumbing duties: repair faucets, showers, drains, and related issues.
• Conduct daily inspection of the property’s outside grounds and address items to keep the property tour-ready.
