Job summary

Oakmont Management Group in California seeks a Maintenance Director for Ivy Living communities. You will plan, organize, and direct maintenance, repair, and housekeeping of the physical plant to keep operations safe and comfortable.

You will oversee maintenance and housekeeping teams, work on electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks, ensure tour-ready condition, and uphold policies. A high school diploma and experience in building maintenance with supervisory duties are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years experience in building maintenance/housekeeping upkeep.
• Experience supervising and managing employees.
• Ability to operate a wide variety of equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of assisted living and dementia care.
• Able to work with seniors and interact with cognitively impaired individuals.
• Pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening; TB tests may apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct overall maintenance and housekeeping of the community.
• Oversee maintenance and housekeeping departments to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable property.
• Address electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks as needed.
• Inspect daily grounds and ensure tour-ready condition.
