Job summary

Oakmont of Lodi is a premier senior living community seeking a Maintenance Director to lead maintenance and housekeeping operations, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and resident comfort. The role covers electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and routine inspections.

You will manage the maintenance team, supervise staff, coordinate with vendors, and promote a resident-centered environment while upholding Oakmont Management Group’s values of quality care and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two years in building industry, maintenance and/or housekeeping with electrical, plumbing, and structural upkeep.
• Prefer one year of supervisory/management experience.
• Able to safely operate a wide variety of equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of assisted living and dementia care is helpful.
• Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests (TB).
• Vaccine and PPE compliance may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct general maintenance and housekeeping of the property.
• Oversee maintenance and housekeeping departments to maintain safety, cleanliness, and comfort.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and related tasks as needed.
• Conduct daily inspection of the property’s exterior and interior to keep tour-ready conditions.
• Coordinate with vendors and supervise staff to ensure timely, quality work.
