Job summary

Ivy Park at Belmont, a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group, seeks a Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance and housekeeping teams. This full-time role oversees equipment, safety, and campus operations to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.

The position requires mechanical ability, electrical/plumbing/carpentry/painting skills, and experience supervising staff.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two (2) years experience in building maintenance or housekeeping.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience supervising employees.
• Able to safely operate a wide variety of equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of assisted living and dementia care.
• Able to work with seniors and interact patiently.
• Able to be flexible, adapt and respond to change, and prioritize tasks.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB.
• For health and safety, vaccination and PPE requirements may apply per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate mechanical ability to work on equipment and perform basic repairs.
• Electrical duties: troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
• Structural duties: carpentry and remodeling cabinets.
• Painting duties: interior/exterior painting and safe disposal of materials.
• Plumbing duties: repair faucets, showers, drains.
• Conduct daily inspection of outside grounds and keep property tour-ready.
