Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Director for Ivy Park at Belmont in California. The role oversees maintenance and housekeeping operations to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for residents.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks, plus supervising staff and maintaining property standards. Candidates should have two years in building maintenance and supervisory experience, and pass background and health screenings as

Formación

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two (2) years experience in building maintenance/housekeeping handling electrical, plumbing, and structural upkeep.
• Prefer one (1) year experience supervising employees.
• Able to safely operate a wide variety of equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of assisted living and dementia care is helpful.
• Able to work with seniors and interact with cognitively impaired individuals.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to prioritize tasks under pressure.
• Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests (TB, etc.).

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate mechanical ability and self-teach to service equipment (washers, dryers, refrigeration, heating, ice machines, basic plumbing and electrical work).
• Handle electrical duties including troubleshooting and replacing components and resident call systems.
• Perform carpentry like cabinet work, drywall, and painting for apartment remodels.
• Carry out painting duties for interior/exterior projects with proper disposal.
• Perform minor plumbing repairs (faucets, showers, drains).
• Conduct daily inspections of outdoor grounds and address items to keep the property tour-ready.
