Job summary

Ivy Park at San Ramon, managed by Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee operation and direction of maintenance and housekeeping. You will ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment aligned with property policies and resident needs, including safety compliance and service quality.

The role focuses on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks, with supervision of maintenance and housekeeping teams to maintain tour-ready properties and

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two years in building industry, maintenance or housekeeping.
• Prefer one year supervising employees.
• Able to safely operate a wide variety of equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of assisted living and dementia care.
• Able to work with seniors and interact with cognitively impaired individuals.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to prioritize tasks and projects.
• Criminal background check and health screenings required.
• Vaccination or PPE requirements may be applicable per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate mechanical ability to fix equipment and perform repairs.
• Electrical duties: troubleshoot and repair lighting, switches, and systems.
• Structural duties: carpentry and cabinet work for remodels.
• Painting duties for interior and exterior projects.
• Plumbing duties for minor problems and repairs.
• Conduct daily inspection of property grounds and ensure tour-ready status.
