Sagora Senior Living’s Brennity at Vero Beach is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality meals for residents across independent living, assisted living, and memory care. You will monitor stock, maintain cleanliness, and serve meals promptly with a friendly, attentive approach.

Requirements include 1+ year in a commercial kitchen, ServSafe Certification and a Food Handler’s permit, plus strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Cook à la carte items.
• Monitor stock.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas.
• Assist with training of all Culinary team members.
• Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation.
• Serve meals to residents promptly and in friendly and courteous manner.
