Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a Dining Room Manager for The Brennity at Vero Beach retirement community. You will supervise daily dining room operations, interview and train staff, and ensure residents receive timely, high-quality meals.

Strong hospitality experience, robust communication skills, and a current Food Handler's permit are required. This role supports a team-focused, quality-centered environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred (Hospitality Management desired).
• 3 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry or equivalent educational and experience combination.
• Must have a current Food Handler's permit.
• Ability to work all shifts and cover for shift openings that occur.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with residents, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day supervision of the dining room.
• Interview, hire, and train new team members.
• Schedule servers and maintain flow of service from kitchen to dining room.
• Ensure residents receive preferences in food and beverages in a timely manner.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitary kitchen practices.
• Assist with sanitation, safety, and records/paperwork as assigned.
• Act as relief backup operator for departmental systems as needed.
